Why did you start in Yoga?
Before yoga entered my life, I worked in hotels and restaurants in tourist destinations during the high season—a job I loved for many years. However, the long hours eventually took their toll, draining the joy from my daily responsibilities. I began to question how I was spending my time, energy, and ultimately, my life.
My body was sending a clear message: it needed more conscious movement to transform my energy from a state of exhaustion and negativity to one of inspiration, hope, and strength. That’s when I discovered yoga. I started following YouTube sessions with Elena Malova, whose calm and reassuring presence provided exactly the stability I needed at that time.
I began with just 10-15 minutes of yoga each day. I experimented with different sequences but soon realized that I preferred repeating certain classes. This repetition made the learning process more tangible, as I could clearly see my progress over time.
That year of practicing yoga in the mountains, despite daily challenges, marked the beginning of a profound transformation in my life. Yoga gradually became an integral part of my journey, shaping who I am today.

How do you include Yoga in your daily life?
If you’re thinking only of asanas and stretching, yes, I do practice those every day. But my approach to yoga goes far beyond the physical postures. For me, yoga is also a philosophy, a form of service, a science, a community, and a union. It's a tool that allows me to engage with life with a curious and open mind, guided by intellect.
In my daily life, I incorporate yoga through various practices. I start with body purification through asanas, allowing my body to move consciously and tune in to its needs. I also engage in energetic cleansing with pranayamas, which help balance and invigorate my energy. Reading is another essential part of my practice—I delve into books on mantras, anatomy, and Vedic philosophy to deepen my understanding.
When I’m outdoors, I don’t just inhale oxygen; I breathe in prana, the vital life force, and I remain fully aware of this connection. I love chanting mantras, though I don’t do this daily. Instead, I make it a weekly practice, as it’s a beautiful way to connect through the voice.
Yoga also connects me with others every day. Some days it's with my teacher, other times with my family, students, colleagues, or friends. I’m deeply grateful for these connections, especially since it’s becoming harder to meet new people as you get older—especially after 34! 😊
Integrating yoga into daily life is about more than just the physical practice; it's about embracing the broader philosophy and using it to enrich every aspect of life.

Where do you see yourself in ten more years?
"I like the idea of keeping things open to surprise. I’m excited to see how things will evolve and what new possibilities might arise. It’s very intriguing to think about where I might be in ten years, but I’m also looking forward to the unexpected turns and opportunities that come along the way because that's what life is for me.”
